Our History
The Vision Became Reality – The origins of the company date back to the late 1970s when it began as a food distribution business that also produced small quantities of Sauces. In 1989, driven by the enthusiasm and vision to seize a unique business opportunity, the company was acquired by the current Director. However, in 1990-1991, the country faced an economic recession. Ukay Catering, already grappling with significant financial challenges and intense industry competition, needed a new direction.
In 1991, a new vision for the company was established, leading to a strategic shift: Ukay Catering ceased its fast-food distribution operations to focus solely on Sauce Manufacturing. Through meticulous product development and unwavering persistence, Ukay Catering set the high standard for its products. We began supplying our Sauces to local restaurants and food businesses, receiving positive feedback and increasing demand. This marked the beginning of Ukay Catering’s journey to becoming a leading Sauce Manufacturer, expanding from a single standard of Tomato Ketchup to five varieties of Tomato Ketchup and a diverse range of other sauces.
